Luthier Lukas Gunia began playing guitar at age thirteen sparking his inclination to guitar making. He began his craft in his home basement until he became employed as head repair man at Dan’s Chelsea Guitars in New York City. His eleven years at Chelsea Guitars allowed him to hone his skills in restoration work, customizing, building, and repairing. In 2015, Lukas began working for Roger Sadowsky. His current employment at Sadowsky has expanded his knowledge by experiencing many world renown instruments. He has also been able to expand his musical creativity along with the development of the Restoration techniques to continue saving vintage guitars.
